Lisvane Bridge Club

The club meets at the Old School in Lisvane on Monday evening at 6.45 pm and on Tuesday afternoon at 1.15pm for a more relaxed session which includes a break for tea or coffee and a biscuit.

Visitors are always welcome at any time. Table money is three pounds for a visitor and two pounds for a member. If you decide to join us the membership is ten pounds a year for 2018 -19 and currently includes membership of the Welsh Bridge Union.

All hands, in common with most clubs, are computer-generated and are available on the club website www.bridgewebs.com/lisvane together with the results both scratch and with handicap.

The club has a popular duplicate event as part of the Lisvane festival. In recent years significant donations have been made to the Old School rebuilding fund, the Community Association and currently to Ty Hafan the children’s hospice. Other events include a Pairs competition and the Chris Moseley Individual Challenge. The most improved pair is awarded the Wendy Laing memorial trophy.

If you would like to try playing bridge with us, just turn up on the day. No partner is needed on a Tuesday, when there is a host system. If you need further information please contact:-
