Past Events:  Bluebell Walk - Sunday, May 6th 2012

How lucky can we be? The Graig Protection held its tradition Bluebell Walk on Sunday, May 6th 2012. It was a cloudy bright day with bursts of sun, which after a week of poor weather followed by even worse weather on the Bank Holiday Monday was something to be thankful for!

32 people walked about 4.5 miles from the car park at Llwyn Hir firstly up to Craig Ruperra where they enjoyed 360o views. Then down to Draethen and up through the bluebell woods and finally back to the car park.

The route can be viewed on http://app.strava.com/activities/7979630

A longer walk will organised towards the end of the month – watch this space!

On Saturday July 7th, RAG is organising a fund raising walk similar to last year. See:  http://www.socrw.co.uk/ for full details and enrolment details. Walkers who are sympathetic to the cause may wish to take part. The walks range from 21 miles to 3 miles.
